I need help to clarify these patterns. 1.I have recieved the mail. 2.I had recieved the mail. 3.I recieved the mail. I am wondering what differences among these three tense are, since they all mean the action is happened, but when to use which tense is proper and correct? I read the grammar book, though, I still feel mess.

1. I have recieved the mail.- this sentence is Present Perfect Tense - in this tense the action started in the past and has never ended 2. I had received the mail - this is the Past Perfect tense - In this tense the action started in the past, went on for sometime and ended in the past 3. I recieved the mail - simple past tense - the action started and ended in the past So here are the differences I hope I have helped you in some way.Have a nice day!
