'Propaganda' is related to the fabrication and diffusion or forging of false historical records. Making of propaganda related myths ? [Devious] Simulation of truth ? How can truth be fabricated ? It has its own existence. Lies can be fabricated, or false truth.

spinning a yarn? Like Andrew said, regarding historical records..........in fact no.....propaganda is the spreading of false information to gain benefit to oneself, so even propaganda isn't specifically relating to historical records.
