I'm standing between the two boys because they were fighting. "¿Hay diferencia entre los dos palabras?" Is there a difference between the two words? Por ejemplo: "A mí me gustaría entre hispanohablantes" I would like to live among spanish speakers. "Entre otras cosas hay problema con la agua" Among other things there's a problem with the water Amongst- Es casi exactamente 'Among'. I live within a few kilometers of the city walls. "Voy a la clase en la mañana" I go to class in the morning. "Estoy hablando en español" I'm speaking in Spanish.

Each with the other: Don't fight among yourselves. Within is another way of saying "inside of". And the word "in" is short for inside. Examples: Go between the two buildings.
