the use of 好 大家好！ 请帮我 with this character, most obvious meaning is that it is "good". but in my phrase book and the dictionaries i'm using, i've encountered a new way to use it and i don't really get the explanation. 把被子叠好 - Bǎ bèizi dié hǎo - fold the quilt 把信叠好- Bǎ xìn dié hǎo - fold the letter dictionary says "it is used after verbs to indicate finishing or finishing satisfactorily...and gives this examples 这件事他做不好 - Zhè jiàn shì tā zuò bùhǎo - he can't do the job well 我把他的病治好了 - Wǒ bǎ tā de bìng zhìhǎo le - i cured his illness i still don't get it, what is 好hǎo's purpose in these phrases?
