Does Chinese/Japonese drink hot/warm tea after eating anything? Hello! I've heard that it is an habit and I would like to know if it is true. Thanks

Hi! In fact, Chinese people, as Japanase I suposse, drink tea all along the day! It is like going to the bar and drink a coca cola for them. But the true is that just some Asians do it, adults and old people... But I dont think they do it after eating, they usually drink alcohol after eating! hahaha By the way, I have drunk a lot of tea in China, it was nice!

Yes! I'm Chinese, and I need to drink hot tea to make it through the day, lol, even though it's super hot where I live, besides, It doesn't necessarily have to be after eating, I'll drink it any time I want.

Seems as if the answers amount to a big "No". Chinese: tea any time, all the time, not especially after a meal. Japanese: rice spirits, not tea after a meal.

Hi -- you mean hot sake, hot rice wine served in small bowls. If you go eating Japanese, they usually serve it at the end. You have never seen old Doraemon cartoon.
