Hi, here is the whole article from the net: Sony Ericsson President Hideki Komiyama made it slipped that the long talked about Playstation branded phone "could happen" in the future, personally I think these guys are too slow to get the idea on paper and up and running. A Playstation branded phone could rocket Sony Ericsson to the top in quick succession, but unless they get their heads out from their own asses and see the light then it will never happen.
The PSP has a huge game library, all Sony Ericsson and Sony as to do is make the Playstation phone compatible with all those games, make the games downloadable from a mobile version of PSN (Playstation Network) and sit back and watch success trickle in. Playstation phone shouldn't be all about games either, make it easy for application developers to create apps for the platform, it should have a touchscreen and no slide out QWERTY keyboard for the sake of keeping it trim and sexy, do not and i repeat, do not tie it exclusively to a network operator, people like myself would be royally pissed off to near death.
While I'd be happy to see Sony Ericsson and Sony to quickly come to an agreement to get a Playstation branded phone out the labs and into sweaty smelly palms, I doubt they will anytime soon and Nintendo might just take the cake with a DS phone and leave Sony Ericsson and Sony to play sloppy seconds to Doomsville.
Kayleigh's interpretation is right, 'sloppy seconds' means 'second best' and Doomsville features in a play station game, it means 'in the middle of nowhere.'
Unless you have the whole article, taking a sentence out of context doesn't make any sense.
