What's a simpler word than postpone? Is it "push" how do you use it? I'd like to postpone our meeting to next Friday. Can I say " I'd like to push our meeting to next Friday. " Instead? What about make it earlier? Is it "pull"? I'd like to pull our meeting to tomorrow instead of next week. Thank you.

You can "push back" the meeting. If you pull the meeting, you cancel it permanently... Make the meeting earlier: "bring forward".

You can say “I would like to reschedule our meeting for next Friday.” A more polite way would be to ask, “Can we please reschedule our meeting for next Friday?” It is also helpful to include the date, so it is clear what day you mean (especially if this is a business meeting)— as in, “Can we please reschedule our meeting for next Friday, December 21?” Or “Can we please reschedule our meeting for next Friday (12/22)? If you want to make your meeting earlier, you can say: 1. “I’d like to meet earlier this week if possible.” Then you can suggest a few days you are free: “I can meet Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. Please let me know what day works best for you!” 2. “Is it possible to meet earlier in the week? If yes, what day would be best for you?” 3. If you are not free every day, it is helpful to suggest a specific day: “Can we please reschedule our meeting for earlier this week? I am free Monday between 12 and 5pm. Would that timeframe work for you?”

You could say, "I'd like to put off our meeting until Friday". You could also use "delay' or "hold off".
