How can I use "recap"? I'd like to use the word "recap"for summarizing sth. How can I use it in the sentence❓

To recap = to go over it again. It is not exactly same as "summarising" "Just to recap" = a common way to inform that you are going to "recap" "Just to recap, can I quickly go over the topics we discussed before I close the meeting" means you will remind people of what was discussed or possibly agreed. Wait to see what other sentences people come up with.

I agree with John and Jason above. "Recap" is another way to say "review" something you already discussed or wrote. If I used it in a sentence, it might be: "So, to recap, today we discussed three main points: Point number one...Point number two...Point number three..." Once you say you would like to recap, you need to highlight the main ideas of what you discussed. This usually comes at the end of your presentation.

'Recap' is short for 'recapitulation', and can be used as both a verb and a noun. It is a term that is used frequently by sports announcers. "Let's go to Bob for the recap" is a very common way for the word to be used in the context of sports or some other form of commentary. One could also say "I had to miss the meeting, but Karen recapped the important parts for me". To recap and to give a recap can be used interchangeably. It is also proper to use the full word 'to recapitulate' or 'to give a recapitulation', though it sounds kind of odd because it is used less frequently than the shortened version.
