Is it correct to say? I was wondering if it's correct to say 'I'm waiting for you tomorrow' Here is the context: -Are you coming tomorrow? -Yes, I am. Everything is on schedule. -Okay. I'm waiting for you tomorrow. -See you. Russian speakers normally say something like this, but if I'm not mistake it sounds odd in English. Is it better to say 'looking forward to seeing you tomorrow'?

It is correct to say, "I'm looking forward to seeing you tomorrow" in English. In this context, you should say, "I will be waiting for you tomorrow." Waiting and seeing are two different things.

“Waiting” and “looking forward” aren’t the same thing. Some options with wait are I’ll be waiting for you tomorrow. (Best from context given) I’ll wait for you tomorrow. (Has an implication that I won’t start doing something until you arrive) I’m waiting for your arrival tomorrow. (I’ve already started waiting) I’m waiting for you tomorrow. (Similar to above. Frankly it doesn’t sound too bad but it would be more normal to say the first)

It does sound odd in English. Saying 'looking forward to seeing you tomorrow' is perfect! Or you can also say something like. 'See you tomorrow!'
