Nope. They're different alright, but I wouldn't say they're neccessarily 'small'. While obviously some Chinese eyes can be little more than narrow slits - I personally like that look! But anyone who knows anything about the Chinese will know there's as much (if not more) physical apperance variation as there are in any other 'foreign' country (ps. to me you are the foreigner :P) - so while yeah, some Chinese people have small eyes - some 'foreigners' do also. You can reverse the same question and ask the stereotypical - do Chinese think that 'foreigners' have big eyes? My answer to that would be a resounding yes.

Only the non-native English speakers think that Chinese have small eyes. Native English Speakers use " slant eye " to describe the shape of the eyes. Most Chinese have slant eyes, " slant eyes" doesn't means small eyes. I am wondering why foreigners' English are so poor. It looks like that most of the English speakers were being influenced by other foreigners' poor English.

In my experience some Chinese have small eyes, and some have big eyes. It is the same all over the world. In fact, I find that girls in Asia often try to make their eyes appear bigger through the use of make-up. Asian men do not do this, so I find that Asian women often seem to have bigger eyes than Asian men. Of course, this is just an illusion.

I don't really worry about eyes. I value a person's character more than their appearance.
