When you express : verb 得 adj, the question to the answer is most likely to be" how does someone do something ? Another case you express : adj 地 verb ,the question to this answer is most likely to be " What's someone doing and how? so it needs more detailed and more concrete ADJ plus 地 to describe the action.

的, mostly the main meaning is focused on the noun, the normal structure is: adj / n / pronoun + 的 + n e.g. 颐和园(n) 的 湖光山色(subject)美不胜收。 她是一位性格开朗 的 女子(object)。 地, mostly the main meaning is focused on the verb or adj, the normal structure is: 地 + V / adj e.g. 她愉快(adv / adj) 地 接受(verb)了这件礼物。 天渐渐(adv phrase) 地 冷(adj)起来。 得, mostly the main meaning is focused on the adv, the normal structure is: verb / adj + 得 + adv e.g. 他们玩(Verb) 得 真痛快(adv)。 她红(adj) 得 发紫(adv phrase)。 link sources: http://zhidao.baidu.com/question/53777598.html http://wenku.baidu.com/view/4d0820a1b0717fd5360cdcf3.html Btw: "她跳舞跳得好" means "she dances well" it should be "well", not "good". if you want to use adj at here, then it should be: "她的舞蹈很好" - “her dancing is very good”

In fact "的”“地”“得”refer to chinese grammar.I don't know how much have you mastered about the grammar.Have you ever heard adverbial and complement? "verb+得+adjective",here the"adjective" is complement,"adjective+地+verb",here"adjective"is adverbial. So you can see "地"and"德"are the singal of distinguishing of adjective to be as adverbial or complement. You can just remember the "verb+得+adjective" and "adjective+地+verb",and you can use "地"and"德" correctly. They are fixed collocation,so don't ask why.Maybe i confuse you,i just want to provide some information helpful for you.

“的”相当于名次,“得”相当于形容词,“地”相当于动词。这样应该比较好记!

“地” is used before the verb, which can form a adjective used before a verb. “得”actually has two pronunciations, one is "děi" and the other is "de". The first one "děi" is like "should"in English, when express desicion or advice, you can use it. for exmple:很晚了,我得回家了。 It is too late,I should be back home. The other "de",the same pronunciation with "地",indiciates some degree or result of the verb used before it. for example:他的汉语说得不怎么好。His Chinese is not very well. 暑假过得怎么样?How was your summer holiday?
