O meu primeiro nome, o de meu bi-avô, foi o de muitos reis da Inglaterra, conquistadores detestados da Irlanda. “Edward” vem das palavras anglo-saxãos, que significam “guardiã da resma”. O sobrenome “Clarke” é a versão inglesa da palavra latina “clericus”, o seja “clèrigo”.
