Samantha

Samantha is THE best! Do you want someone who will inspire you to use and understand Portuguese? Samantha is your teacher. I know that she is very fluent in English, but in the 2.5 to 3 years I’ve been learning from her, I can probably count on one hand the number of times I have heard her speak it. Before Samantha I tried many teachers who would not trust my Portuguese and relied on explaining in English. Samantha is so patient and always uses Portuguese with me. She is knowledgeable, honestly wants you to improve and always so much fun. It’s like hangin out with your best friend.

Samantha has been an invaluable help with learning and improving my Portuguese. I started our classes with an intermediate grasp of the language, but with her, through 7 months, I am close to becoming fluent. She is charismatic, understanding and easy to get along with. Throughout our classes I have continuously been impressed by her creativity and encouragements. She brings a positive attitude and utilises varied tools and approaches based on the contextual needs of the student. She manages to keep her classes enriching yet fun. Therefore, I am deeply thankful for all our classes and can wholeheartedly recommend Samantha to anyone who wants to learn Portuguese at any level. (She also has great taste in music).

I really like the lessons we have. Samantha makes classes very entertaning and fun, even the homework she sends me is different and interesting! During our lessons I learn and I also have fun, which i think is key when learning a different language. 100% recommend her!! :)
