Kanami

One of my goal is to push my listening skill so I specially requested Kanami Sensei not to use English. I am happy that Kanami Sensei accommodated my request and spoke Japanese at a slower pace for my understanding. On words that I didn't understand, she used different words/examples to explain. She also gave me a little test at the end of the lesson reviewing new words we learned today. Thank you for the first lesson.

I had a super great lesson with Kanami! I took her class, which focuses on learning a song in Japanese. It was the perfect class for me because I love music and enjoy singing. I really liked the class because not only did we had a really interesting discussion about the song, but I also got to practice reading in Japanese, which is a skill I've been working on and would like to do more of. I hope to continue taking this class, as I learned so much and had a lot of fun! Thank you!

I had a really fun time talking to Kanami! She was really sweet and patient with me when I was fishing for words or phrasing. She also helped me find words and correct my grammar, and I really liked that we spent the last 5 minutes reviewing the words and grammar that she had helped me with during the lesson, which I thought was really efficient! I definitely want to take more classes with her because I feel like it will help me improve a lot
