Jarenny Zárate

Jarenny is a very kind, fun, smart, and beautiful person. She is very encouraging and patient, which I especially need when we first start off a lesson and I need some time to fully get my scrambled brain into Spanish-speaking mode. I tend to feel a lot of fear when I start speaking Spanish to someone else, but as soon as I start talking to Jarenny my nervousness disappears. She is an attentive listener and when my mind starts to freeze up, she always is ready with some questions or follow up that always keeps me engaged and excited to continue the conversation. I feel encouraged to try to express myself and push beyond what I'm used to, even if it's difficult or I find I'm having a hard time finding the words. I feel safe to try and I'm also very appreciative of her guidance in how to improve. I never thought it could be so easy for me to have fun, fluid conversations in Spanish. Thank you Jarenny!

Jarenny has been so helpful in my Spanish learning. I spend 30 minutes a week practicing with her, and get 10x more out of that than my 2 hr class. She helps build confidence in speaking, pushes try new things and is so helpful is explaining mistakes. I cannot say enough good things if you are serious about learning Spanish do it with the assistance of Jarenny it is very worth it.

I've been learning for Jarenny for a few months now, she is such an amazing teacher and has progressed my Spanish knowledge so quickly its truly amazing! She always comes prepared for our lectures and has supplied great study materials (especially the flashcards). Highly recommend using her teaching expertise to advance your Spanish knowledge no matter what stage of the learning process you are at!
