Hello, my name si Raffaele and I'm glad to help you with your Italian! I was born and raised in southern Italy and I have a southern accent. I love learning new languages and getting to know new cultures from around the world. I speak fluently English and I know basics of Portuguese and German. If I could I would travel around the world all the time! I'm also passionate about tv series, Asian culture/philosophy, sport, psychology photography and Graphic Design!

I'm a very patient tutor. I like helping people and I'm the kind of person that listens to what the learner needs and one of my strenghts is that I'm very empathic since I've been student for a long time so I know what it feels to learn and speak a new language with a native speaker. I also try to make the other person very comfortable since it's the attitude I'd like a teacher/tutor to have with me and last but not least I always try to highlight the progress that a learner/student is making.

I think that learning a new language would require to speak the more the better. I learned English by speaking all the time with natives speakers trying to say the things I knew without worrying too much I'd sound "foreign". I can also try to give the student some advises about tools (listening materials) and tricks to learn Italian the fastest he can since I'm a learner and language enthusiast myself so I know the challenges but don't worry, I always try to focus on what I know instead of focusing too much on what I don't know about a language because it helps me understand that I'm already on the track to learn the language and I'm no longer on the starting point!
