Hallo :) I'm Pirmin, I was born and grew up in Germany, but lived in the Netherlands and Kenya and am now living in Belgium. I'm a freelance software developer and coding tutor. I enjoy talking about different cultures, languages, self-improvement, science, psychology, entrepreneurship; or having a good discussion about any subject.Tôi với tư cách là giáo viên
I started teaching different subjects many years ago and still do today because I very much enjoy teaching people. I grew up in Germany and completed my computer science degree there. Therefore, I can help you from not knowing a single word of German up to a very advanced academic level. I use English every day at work and am on a native level (C2). I also learned Dutch to a conversational level, a bit of Swahili, and am currently learning French (B1) and Spanish (A2).Phong cách dạy & bài học của tôi
We will focus on speaking and listening as much as possible in our lessons. From learning languages myself, I know how important it is to have comprehensible and compelling input that is appropriate for your level, as well as active retrieval practice like speaking. This is much more effective for naturally acquiring the language compared to drilling grammar. Doing Crosstalk (popularized by Dreaming Spanish) is also possible. If you have a specific goal like a vacation or work topic, we can focus on that. I'm also happy to provide you with additional materials outside our lessons.

I had another wonderful session with Pirmin. As usual, he was incredibly helpful and patient. He assisted me in finding the correct words and corrected my mistakes, which greatly improved my confidence in speaking German. Additionally, Pirmin helped me build my vocabulary related to ordering in a café, making the lesson both practical and enjoyable

Pirmi ist ein hervorragender Tutor, er hilft einem, mehr Selbstvertrauen zu entwickeln. Er ist zudem sehr hoffnungsvoll, geduldig und wartet, bis man ganze Sätze gebildet hat, um einem dann seine Vorschläge oder Korrekturen zu geben. Er ist zudem sehr proaktiv und schreibt einem nach der Stunde ein paar Nachrichten, um einem Hausaufgaben oder Tips zu empfehlen. Als neue Tutor hast du dich sehr gut geschlagen!

I very much enjoyed my lesson! He’s very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. I was nervous to practice my speaking, but he made it stress free and fun. I will definitely book more with him.
