Junior Praia

Junior was exactly the kind of teacher I was looking for. Despite my basic Portuguese, we managed to communicate only in Portuguese even as he taught me new words and corrected my Portuguese. He helped create a relaxed environment for learning while talking, which is something I prefer over a 'classroom style' of learning. I am writing this after our first session, and if anything changes, I will follow up later with another review.

An amazing Brazilian Portuguese teacher! He has a great sense of humor and knows how to make you feel comfortable, so you can speak without fear. Every lesson is filled with fun anecdotes about Brazilian culture, making learning both engaging and insightful. You don’t just feel like you’re in a class—you feel like you’re spending time with a friend. Highly recommended!

É muito fácil falar de qualquer tema com Júnior e aprendi tanto novo vocabulário geral e carioca específico! Me ofrece também muitos materias e videos pra praticar mais e experimentar imersão cultural :) Muito obrigada de novo e até próxima aula :))

Tive uma aula muito divertida com Junior em que falamos sobre muitos assuntos da cultura, experiencias do Brasil, experiencias de aprender idiomas e mais. Muito obrigada Junior por seu tempo e abordagem amigável e aberta. Eu recomendo e continuarei aprendendo com ele :) Ate o proximo

Hoje começamos com um serviço memorial baseado no Budismo Japonês e discutimos a cultura do anime!

Great first lesson with Junior - he is a super friendly and patient teacher. The class was really fun - he gave me corrections and help where needed and made me feel comfortable with making mistakes the entire time. Highly recommend
