Paula Teixeira

Paula is an outstanding teacher. Her classes are meticulously organized, but yet flexible so as to cater to my needs and preferences. She is able to readjust the teaching materials and is always introducing interesting content that is very helpful in making language learning easier and more engaging. Paula is very knowledgeable and is able to contextualize complex concepts and answer any questions that arise.

I am super thankful to have found Paula! She's a total language geek so I get to learn not only Galician but about Galician. As a descent of Galician I have really come to enjoy these lessons as I try to reclaim our heritage language. Paul is super knowledgeable, engaged and very easy to talk with

Paula is an outstanding teacher. It is clear from all of her materials that she takes a great deal of pleasure in sharing the Galician language with others. She is a natural in the classroom: patient, encouraging and always respectful of the student's own aims and goals. I am continually impressed by the sheer amount of resources that Paula has created. To me, this speaks both to her understanding of students different learning styles, and her determination to be an inclusive teacher. I always look forward to my classes with Paula and I would highly recommend her to anyone thinking about studying Galician.

I have just had my lesson with Paula and it went excellently. She is incredibly passionate about Galician and clearly from her academic background she has an exceptionally nuanced understanding of her language. Galician, though closely related to Portuguese and Castilian Spanish, she demonstrates how it is unique in its own way and why it is an important language. If anyone is considering learning a new language, I will definitely advocate for Galician. If you do choose to learn the language, you can't go wrong with Paula. She is patient, very friendly and she explains very clearly. I would highly recommend taking a class with her.
