My name is Catherine and I'm a tutor from the UK. I have taught English at various stages throughout my life and for the past three years have also been teaching online. I've been living in South America and have had to learn Spanish so I understand the difficulties of learning another language - both the frustrations and the joys. I'm a calm, patient and friendly teacher and encourage students to be comfortable with making mistakes and learning from them. I've taught students from all over the world and love not only teaching students, but learning from them too. I mainly teach higher-intermediate and advanced students. I'm a very flexible tutor and will adapt lessons depending on the student's wants and needs. As well as correcting errors, I really try to help students build confidence in their English and enjoy the process. I love chatting about different topics but will also help you identify any patterns of errors you are making so that we can work on them.
