Valentina Scanferla

In this lesson, Valentina gave me opportunities to practice forming sentences with multiple verb conjugations. She is very good at encouraging me to try speaking on my own, helping me when I get stuck but giving me the chance to figure things out independently as well. She also gave me useful vocabulary for my upcoming trip to Italy!

Valentina pushed me to understand in Italian by speaking slower rather than reverting to English when I struggled. This was very helpful! She is always patient when I forget words or don’t understand, and she provides quizzes so I can practice between lessons. Looking forward to the next lesson!

My speaking was not as good today and Valentina was very patient! I messaged her before our lesson with a question and she took time to prepare a very helpful explanation with examples and exercises. I learned a lot!

This was my first lesson with Valentina, but it won't be my last. She is a fantastic teacher! Enthusiastic, patient, and very good at explaining. Highly recommended!
