Mao is the best! Not only is she a pleasure to talk with as a friend, but she is also a fantastic teacher. She explains grammar and vocabulary in a way that’s easy to understand and provides many examples. Mao is the reason I enjoy learning Spanish. Especially when I was just starting to learn and couldn’t yet express myself well, she encouraged me and motivated me to learn so that I could enjoy our conversations even more. We always talk about a myriad of topics, and even if I don’t know a word or phrase, she always helps me find the best way to express exactly what I want to say. Through her personality and teaching expertise, she creates a comfortable and fun environment for learning. No matter what your Spanish level is, you shouldn’t hesitate to book a class with Mao! She will help you reach your language learning goals in an enjoyable and effective way. There is no better Spanish professor on italki than Mao!🥰

This was my first time trying this app. I saw the great reviews for Ms. Mao and book a session with her. She was VERY informative which I LOVE and gave examples to understand better. She also typed up everything which I appreciate so much because I am able to connect what I’m hearing to how it is written and follow along better as the lesson goes on. Great teacher and first experience!
