Great lesson with Ziyu! We talked about New Years celebrations. We also talked about other countries where there is a "foreigner price" and a "local price", like in Thailand. I also mentioned that my brother and my sisters went to my cousin's wedding, and we talked about family. Ziyu is easy to talk with about a wide range of topics!

Great lesson with Ziyu! We talked about giving and receiving gifts, how some people in China dance in the public square and how people walk 10,000 steps. We also talked about children learning the truth about Santa Claus and giving/receiving presents. Ziyu is very good about letting me slowly come up with a question or sentence, which helps me improve my speaking!

Great lesson with Ziyu! We talked about preparing for the holidays. Ziyu told me about the toys that kids like in China such as legos. We also talked about tv shows from Asia, including Japanese anime. It was a fun and interesting discussion!
