She’s great with idioms and historical vocabulary! Extensive knowledge with great explanations

She knows a ton about historical Chinese and regional variation. Wonderful for learning to distinguish certain vocabulary from the North/South. Even from the beginning we were able to have an interesting conversation about linguistics and dialects in China and typed all relevant words and phrases in the chat so that I could look further into them.

Teacher Zhang was talkative and spoke clear standard Mandarin. She is easygoing and enjoyable to chat with.
