Second class with Minnie and I’m learning heaps. Really enjoy speaking with her and really appreciate Minnie for writing the words down during the class. That really helps me when I am reviewing my lesson and remembering the words. Thanks Minnie!

(Review for English students) First official lesson with Minnie was amazing! She was very patient with teaching me how to pronounce different sounds in Mandarin, and her powerpoint is easy to follow. She is very friendly and very easy to talk to, compared to other teachers. Thank you Minnie! I look forward to having you as a Mandarin teacher for the next few years!

We've been having online classes with Minnie for over 3 months now. Minnie is the best language teacher I ever had - be it online or on-site. I feel very motivated after every lesson with her, because she makes me feel that I can already speak Chinese. I was starting with almost no prior knowledge, but now we mostly use Chinese throughout the class. She knows what words I already know and mostly uses these, but slowly introducing new ones. She's always speaking in Chinese first. If that fails - she tries to explain it using other Chinese words and only then - if I still can't understand it - she uses English. This immersion method is a great way to learn the language!

This was my second week of immersion lessons with Minnie (5 classes a week). It's been fabulous, and I really appreciate Minnie's patient approach and how she always speaks to me in Cantonese, and that even withy limited language abilities, we are able to ha e conversations on a wide variety of topics. She is a fantastic teacher and I would highly recommend her!

This was my fifth class this week with Minnie and it was fantastic. I wanted to push myself to get beyond the "I can't say anything beginner stage" so I decided to have an hour speaking practice with Minnie Monday-Friday this week. I must say, it has been amazing. Even though I am very much a beginner, my conversations have been only in Cantonese and really fun and interesting. Minnie is enthusiastic, patient, and such a great teacher! Highly recommended.
