After teaching in the UK, I have been fortunate to able to travel around the world teaching in a number of International Schools. I have enjoyed experiencing many cultures and making friends in many parts of the world. Beside being a qualified teacher of English and general subjects I am also a musician and have directed choirs and accompanied many musicals at the piano. My journeying across the world has meant that I have had the opportunity to listen to many forms and styles of music. I have offered online English tutoring for both children and adults and this is an enjoyable way of keeping in touch with the international community.Tôi với tư cách là giáo viên
I have taught children from the ages of 5 to 16+ in UK and International Schools. Whilst in the Uk I taught the core subjects in the Primary School and was also responsible for preparing children for the KS2 SATS ( at 11 years of age). I have enjoyed teaching many second language English speakers at international schools around the world. I have also tutored international students for entry to leading UK independent schools.
Conversation ( with attention to pronunciation, accent + intonation) is always a part of any lesson; discussion of grammatical points, spelling and writing are important too; opportunities for discussion + reading of English literature are always taken.Phong cách dạy & bài học của tôi
I always assess my students individually, after listening carefully to their aims and what they hope to achieve in a course of English lessons. Adults may be only concerned with improving their speaking skills and I have many conversation topics upon which we can focus. Nigel has been teaching regularly my 6-years old daughter for about a half of a year. He is a very patient, kind, attentive and responsible teacher who knows how to interest the child. I can see my daughter's progress and increasing her confidence in English. We are always saying "Thank you, Nigel !"

I feel I am really lucky to meet with Nigel for my son’s teacher. He is so experienced and always brings interesting topics! My son used to be very quiet and not proactive to have interaction with others. But after taking lessons from Nigel, he became more self-confident and outgoing, which is fantastic! Much appreciated!!!
