Penny

Penny and I have been doing classes for a while, but only now have started working on a syllabus. I tend to get distracted and lose focus easily, and Penny is gently able to bring back the focus to the task at hand. I like her approach to teaching HSK and I like that she is friendly but also firm in her teaching. 10/10 would recommend!

Penny is patient and prepared. She speaks very clearly, both Chinese (Mandarin) and English. This is so helpful for conversation practice. The environment is quiet. She is willing to tailor lessons to my specific learning needs.

Penny is always well prepared with curriculum and good at challenging me without unnecessary confusion. She is very open to questions and feedback to tailor the lessons to my learning needs.

Great lesson! I learned a lot about Chinese history and philosophy! Penny taught me some new vocabulary so we can discuss these subjects. She is very attentive to what I need and proposes me activities that can help me to progress in Chinese.
