Rebecca van Duyn

I had more than a hundred classes with Rebecca on scientific editing and proofreading of my scientific articles in the fields of astronomy, physics and engineering. On my last article, we spent dozens of classes, we had 3 loops of editing. Finally, the article successfully passed through the English language edition board of the well-known magazine Photonics MDPI (Impact Factor: 2.4, 2022) with only 2 small remarks, and it was published. I may recommend Rebecca not only as a general English teacher but also as a teacher for specific purposes such as scientific editing.

I have been improving my English with Rebecca for over two years now and I constantly enjoy her lessons. Rebecca is very friendly, and very easy to talk to. She always tries to accommodate my individual needs and comes up with conversation topics herself or (by agreement) we focus on grammar where I have weaknesses.

I have been having lessons with Rebecca for a year now. I enjoy our lessons immensely as her teaching style is engaging, interactive, and tailored to my learning needs. Rebecca has a remarkable ability to explain complex concepts in a simple and understandable manner. Under her guidance, my English skills have improved significantly. I highly recommend Rebecca as a skilled and dedicated English teacher.

Rebecca is by far the best. She's very professional and provides a very structured learning plan. This is where I like her class the most. She understands what I need and where I want to improve. From that, she guides me through the ways that are practical and effective. I am looking forward to keep learning with her and getting better at it.
