Hi, my name is Erika. I am a qualified ESOL teacher and have extensive experience in teaching English as a second language to international students and migrants. I am a highly organised teacher who prepares interesting lessons to suit my students' needs, and I am always professional and approachable inside and outside the classroom.
I am also offering casual conversation classes in Hungarian to those who would like to focus on fluency through various interesting topics.

I have always loved languages and have learnt them from an early age as a child. This was my main motivation to become a teacher over 20 years ago. Apart from teaching I have also spent time contracting to a language school based at one of the universities in Auckland to develop teaching materials for new teachers to help them on their teacher training journey. I completed my Master of Education with First Class Honours which I believe enhances my knowledge about education in general and also my teaching practice.Phong cách dạy & bài học của tôi
I have experience teaching from a beginner to an advanced level; and have taught students from all over the world. My teaching methods include video/audio materials that I send to students before class to watch/listen to; class notes with focussed exercises relating to the language in the video/audio; focussed grammar, writing, conversation, and reading activities; and also additional content as required by students. I am always perfectly prepared and run my classes in an organised and systematic manner. I encourage my students to spend as much time practising their English outside the classroom as possible.
