Hi，I’m Shirley, a native Chinese Speaker from Shanghai. :)
I have worked in a university in Shanghai since 2006 and have already taught about 25k+ Chinese lessons online and offline , such as language essentials, HSK preparation ect.. My students are 7 to 65 years old, from all over the world, with many different first languages. My lessons are tailored to suit your needs whether it is language for business, traveling, daily life, school, HSK, Chinese Culture etc. Please feel free to send me a message before our first lesson telling me what is your level and what is your expectations. Shirley is a very knowledgable teacher and perfectly knew how to customise the topics and material to match my work-needs!
We started with a couple of "warm-up" questions from which she very effectively assessed which topics are relevant to me and which linguistic problems I need to work on. Then proceeded to do targeted exercises that perfectly aligned with what I need to work on. Overall a great lesson!
Shirley knows how help students work on their weak spots, is good at explaining concepts using Chinese-only, is well organised, has a structured teaching approach, provides high-quality material.
