100 Lessons! That milestone with a single tutor is a review in itself. Melissa has been my patient guide along this journey, especially with my lateness. Due to time zones, I'm rolling out of bed and racing to finish a coffee before the lesson starts. I lost motivation for everything for a while, when my personal life was falling apart. Melissa was compassionate and understanding, helping me find motivation and rediscover my passion for language learning. The return to Spanish class was a good step toward some semblance of normalcy. This 2 year Spanish journey has not just been about my growth as a student but about Melissa's growth as a teacher. An emotionally intelligent (socially attuned / responsive) and well prepared teacher, I tell you that Melissa posses the skillset that lends itself so well to the online teaching medium. I always give five stars, but rarely leave comments. Melissa is highly competent and delightful, so there you go.

Melissa has been an amazing teacher. She is very prepared for each class and continues to focus in on my greatest needs. She has helped me tremendously with the subjunctive, conditional, imperative, etc. Her explanations are concise and really hit home. I truly believe that I am improving with each class.
