Honestly one of the best experiences I've ever have with online lessons, I got involved into the lesson since minute 1 and can't wait to have more lessons with Marisa.

A year of Duolingo gave me a base but it's only now with Marisa that I really feel like I'm learning to speak and understand european Portuguese. I wish that I had started with her sooner! She has a casual friendly style that is very focused on helping me to be more conversational in the settings I'm likely to experience in Portugal.

É um prazer ser ensinada pela Marisa. Ela é descontraída, mas é uma professora talentosa, precisa no seu próprio uso da língua, e essa precisão convida o aluno a usar a língua com cuidado e atenção. Ela corrige imediatamente os erros de escolha de palavras, de gramática e de pronúncia, o que reduz sempre a complacência e permite melhorar.

I loved my first class with Marisa, she was very supportive and clear in her explanations. After the class, I felt much more confident that I can do this!! Very motivational. Maf

Marissa encouraged that I learn a bit more things to feel confident speaking publicly, like numbers, verb tenses, and especially irregular verbs. She also encouraged me to ask questions when visiting museums, churches, historic sites, and other places.
