Me gusta que me deje intentar hablar en portugués, aunque sea más portuñol, pero siento que voy intentando hacer el acento y voy aprendiendo palabras así como reconociendo las que se parecen a las del español. Igual casi todo ella me lo dice en portugués y yo pregunto las palabras que no entiendo. Eso también me gusta, porque me permite familiarizarme con el idioma.

What a lovely teacher! Marisa is patient and encouraging and asked questions to get me talking more. She prepared for the lesson by creating some interesting topics and vocabulary to talk about. It was fun interacting with her, and it felt great to be speaking in Portuguese about engaging subjects.

Marisa is very kinda and responsive to your needs as a student. We just finished the first lesson of this year where we adopted a new lesson plan based on my needs and study habits outside of this class. It was a great change of pace and I look forward to more lessons this year. I recommend Marisa for anyone who wants a patient and knowledgeable teacher.
