どうもありがとう for レッスン 150! Thank you for being a 素晴らしい先生, エミさん! I'm very happy that I found my way to your classroom, almost 2 years ago! All the progress I've made with my Japanese studies has been thanks to you and our 楽しい lessons together. Let's hit 200 before the end of the year! がんばって!

This teacher is really fantastic. She will often point out things that you do that sound non-native, so you can perfect your linguistic ability and sound more like a native Japanese. It is hard to find a teacher that points such things out. I definitely recommend this teacher.

いつも優しい言葉をかけてありがとう！それもあるけど、日本語を学んでエミ先生に出会えて本当によかったと思う。命が変わった！とかじゃないかもしれないけど、やっぱ嬉しいね。忘れないよ！もっと日本語が上手だったらもうちょっと重くない言い方したいんだけど、心から幸せになってほしい。またお別れの言葉みたいになっちゃうけど、またどっかで会えたらいいな。

Every lesson with Emi-san is full of laughter and I feel really accomplished when we finish. We are now having bits of conversation in simple Japanese, something I wasn't sure I'd ever been able to do, and it's all thanks to her enthusiasm and niceness that motivates me to keep up studying.

Great lesson with Emi! We did some reading exercises and answered questions about what we read. One of the exercises was written top-to-bottom, which was a bit new for me. We also reviewed the "short form" words that I wrote. Emi also wanted to practice the "I think..." construction, so we practiced that. Emi was happy to see me making progress...she is always encouraging!
