Hi, my name is Ákos! I was born and raised in Hungary and lived in Scotland for 12 years. My experience abroad gave me firsthand insight into learning and using a second language, which helps me teach Hungarian effectively. If you're just starting out, maybe preparing for the Hungarian citizenship interview or just want to learn useful phrases for travel, I’ve got you covered. Born and raised in Hungary, I’ve been passionate about sharing my native language and culture with others. Since 2020, I’ve been teaching Hungarian and English online.
The success of my students inspired me to fully dedicate myself to this journey. As of 2024, I’ve embraced teaching full-time, with a mission to help you confidently master the Hungarian or English language.

Ákos is a great teacher! He has a vast knowledge of many subjects, and he helps me a lot with the old Hungarian that I need to be able to read and understand. He is calm and patient and explains things I did not understand clearly. Highly recommended!
