I'm a language enthusiast, wife and mother from the state of Pennsylvania in the U.S. I have lived abroad as a student and have experienced the practical benefits of understanding another language. I’ve also come to understand how important it is in today’s world to understand and correctly use English. For many years I’ve helped non-native speakers with correcting their grammar and using better pronunciation. I’ve also helped correct and improve their writing so not only did it flow more naturally but they were able to use more advanced sentence structures. I was very efficient and proficient in helping these non-native learners use English like native speakers. The experiences I gained from helping so many non-native speakers over the years led me to becoming an Italki Community teacher.
