As a professional musician, he speaks clearly and naturally, which really helps me since my primary goal is to improve my listening comprehension and learn everyday expressions, rather than formal textbook French. His high-quality microphone setup and lesson notes make practicing listening and shadowing much easier. I also appreciate his music recommendations, as they provide a fun and effective way to increase my exposure to Quebec French and get more natural input.

Etien is an amazing teacher and has a natural talent for teaching. I love how he breaks down lyrics and explains their context. He also recommends songs that are great for French learners and especially for those interested in learning French from real life, as well as music and pop culture in Quebec.
