Megumi

Megumi-sensei is a kind and patient teacher. She is great at speaking at an easy to understand level and breaking down words that I struggle with. Also, she makes her lessons enjoyable, often revises previously studied concepts and is very encouraging even when I make many easy mistakes. I would absolutely recommend as a teacher to anyone looking to learn Japanese at any level!

Megumi siempre tiene en cuenta tus necesidades y gustos y sus clases son muy divertidas y relajadas. Además, siempre busca maneras de comunicarse en japonés en vez de usar otros idiomas, lo que hace más fácil poder concentrarse y aprender más. ¡Gracias!

I’ve been learning weekly with Megumi-san for a few months now, and when I started, I only knew hiragana and a bit of katakana. Now I can hold basic conversations and I’m picking up more grammar and vocabulary every week. She’s patient, easy to talk to, and really helps you focus on the areas you need to work on. I had to do a bit of catch-up at first, but once I got the basics down, things started moving fast. I’m aiming for the N5 this, maybe even the N4, and I feel confident she’s the right teacher to help me get there.

I've been having conversation lesson with Megumi San for about a year now, and I am very grateful that she had helped achieve a somewhat fluid conversation level. I still make a lot of mistakes, of course, and sentences are not completely natural, but that something to work on my side. Megumi has helped achieve confidence in not being afraid of talking, she patiently waits until I finish what I want to say and shows me the proper way of saying it. Its the perfect balance of keeping the conversation going and correcting me in the way. She is very fun to talk to and easy going, would totally recommend her classes.

很高兴时隔多年再次和めぐみ老师联系上。虽然我们已经几年没有沟通了，但她竟然还记得我，让我非常感动。她的教学方式依然那么温柔细致，不仅会耐心纠正我每一句话，还会根据我的学习目标引导我拓展表达，真的非常感激。 I’m truly happy to have reconnected with Megumi-sensei after all these years. Even though we hadn’t been in touch for a long time, she still remembered me — and that meant a lot. Her teaching style is as gentle and meticulous as ever. She corrects every sentence with care and also helps me expand based on my learning goals. I’m deeply grateful for her support. 久しぶりにめぐみ先生とお話しすることができて、本当に嬉しかったです。何年も連絡を取っていなかったのに、私のことを覚えていてくださって、とても感激しました。 先生の教え方は相変わらず丁寧で、一つ一つの表現をきちんと直してくださるだけでなく、私の目標に合わせて内容を広げてくださるので、本当にありがたいです。

先生といろいろなテーマについて話しました。「なぜ日本語を勉強していますk」や「好きな小説、アニメと漫画はだんですか」　という質問など。先生は本当に優しかったし明らかに話しましたので問題なく理解できました。ありがとうございました、MEGUMI先生。 During my lesson I talked about a variety of topics with Megumi-Sensei. Questions like ‘why are you studying Japanese’ to ‘what is your favourite anime/manga/novel?’. Megumi-Sensei was very kind and spoke very clearly, so I could understood her with no issues.
