Hello there! My name is Jamaica, but most of my students refer to me either as “Jam” or “Teacher Jam”. I’m from New Jersey, USA but the Philippines has been home for me for almost 11 years now. I have been working as a TEFL certified ESL teacher for about 3 years . Through the years, I've had the privilege of meeting so many amazing people from all over the globe who share the same eagerness and dedication to learn my native language. And I look forward to meeting and helping you, too! My hobbies are hiking, traveling, designing floral arrangements, reading books from different genres, to name a few. I enjoy learning about different cultures and making new friends along the way.

With my help and expertise, I can assist people in reaching their language learning goals. My style of teaching is relaxed, fun, and informative. All lessons are personalized to fit your unique learning style. My goal for every lesson is to ensure that the student meets their learning objectives and most importantly to use the language in a way that is most authentic. I always want to ensure that the lesson outcome is clear so that I can plan the class activities around the overall structure.
