Hiromi

Another excellent conversation with Hiromi. She's very good at talking in a mixture of English and Japanese vocabulary simple enough for me to understand.

久しぶりに会いました。n 2の試験について話が楽しかったです。以前、先生がたくさんの資料を送ってくれたのを覚えて、残念ながらその時はよく読んでいませんでした。今思い出して少し後悔しています。これからもっと読むように頑張ります。どうもありがとうございました。

Today we talked about various things including Okinawa and phobias. Thanks for the lesson!

Firstly, Hiromi sensei was really interesting to talk with as she has lived in different areas of Japan and is a very creative person. In our first session we had a relaxed conversation followed by reviewing some content, Hiromi sensei was able to review the content I had shared ahead of class and suggest content with a more appropriate reading level.

Today we read articles on Japan’s winter weather and on how soy sauce is made. We took turns reading our loud and discussed grammar points and kanji from text. I had the opportunity to make up sentences from based on the grammar points we discussed. I enjoyed today’s class.

Learnt lots of new words today going through a very interesting article.
