I am a native German and was born in Northern Germany where I spent all my childhood years. After completing my university degree as well as my teacher training course in English and German, I moved to the UK where I have been working as a German teacher and translator. I am a NASM certified personal trainer, classical musician, language and literature teacher, translator and editor. I first taught at the private Colegio Humboldt Caracas in Venezuela, where I was living to work with musicians from the El Sistema orchestras. In addition to preparing students for their DSD I & II, I was an examiner for the speaking segments of these tests. Since then, I taught pupils of all age groups and proficiency levels – currently students of Nanchang University, for whom I give courses in German culture, literature and linguistics. I closely follow scientific and technological developments out of pure interest, but as a side effect, we will never be short of topics ;) BEGINNERS: We will learn useful everyday vocabulary and grammar in easy steps by solving interactive exercises on DEUTSCHFUCHS.
