Greek Philology specialist, experienced in 1-on-1 tutoring Studying Philology in the University of Athens gave me a well-rounded aspect towards teaching. It’s not just about setting specific goals and achieving them. For me, learning involves a deep, inner procedure both for the teacher and the student. In fact, it involves recognizing the student’s own strengths and their specific way of building knowledge, rather than simple memorizing or repeating things. I am a certified teacher of Greek language (Ancient and Modern) and literature, as well as Russian as a foreign language. At the moment I have been teaching Greek for twenty years and Russian for fifteen years. I prepare students for certification exams in Greek ("Πιστοποίησης Επάρκειας της Ελληνομάθειας") and for exams for obtaining Greek citizenship, as well as for State certification exams in Russian as a foreign language. In addition, I teach Latin to high school students. My teaching experience also includes teaching ancient Greek and Modern Greek literature.
