After university, I obtained a 1st Level Master in "Promoting and Teaching of Italian Language and Culture to Foreigners". In 2013 I was an intern at the Italian department of Kennesaw State University, USA. My Master’s final project was published as an article in an specialized Italian LS/L2 magazine. After my Master, I had many teaching experiences, also with Individuals with learning disabilities, both in Italy and in the USA. I worked in Pennsylvania as a Teaching Assistant for the elementary, intermediate and advanced Italian language and culture classes at Bucknell University, Lewisburg.

As I said before, I know how hard its to learn a new language, especially all by yourself. I know from experience that having conversations is the easier way to learn a new language. Tutor di lingua da 3 anni Amo instaurare un rapporto d'amicizia con i miei studenti di modo che le lezioni sembrino un piacevole momento d'incontro. Mi piace scherzare, fare parallelismi e fornire diversi spunti musicali e letterari o in generale artistici, confrontandomi sempre con lo studente e i suoi gusti personali. Sono disponibile anche al di fuori dell'orario delle lezioni per chiarimenti, consigli e delucidazioni. Generalmente preferisco parlare in italiano durante l'intera lezione ma qualora lo studente lo richiedesse , ad esempio per chiarimenti su regole grammaticali, potrei dare spiegazioni in inglese. Oltre all'apprendimento mi piacerebbe farvi passare una piacevole e divertente lezione.

Insegnante di italiano con oltre 6 anni di insegnamento Ho studiato per 5 anni latino e greco al liceo, dove la grammatica era al centro dell'attenzione, con l'esperienza ho però capito che per iniziare ad apprendere una nuova lingua (cosa che ho sperimentato con l'inglese e lo spagnolo) è importante avere un ruolo attivo nell'apprendimento. In fondo, Leggere libri e siti in italiano non è poi così complicato, Scrivere email e documenti di lavoro già presuppone una maggiore conoscenza della lingua, ma Parlare italiano… beh, è tutta un’altra storia e richiede un approccio ad hoc. Il Listening (l’ascolto della lingua) non basta: se vuoi davvero imparare a parlare in italiano devi fare pratica.

Attualmente (agosto 2024) ho concluso più di 500 lezioni, grazie! Il mio stile di insegnamento si adatta ai bisogni e agli interessi dello studente.
