From years of working in Behaviour Change with people, I know that adding new routines is not easy. Busy life and competing commitments make it difficult to stick to a routine. While I am encouraging and supportive, my best advice for a beginner is to lower your expectations when learning. Less is more at the very beginning while you are building a routine.

Teaching Lithuanian since 2013 I teach all levels - from zero to hero - and I mainly use my created content and materials. That way I can control the process easier and make sure that we learn what counts early on without spending too much time on exceptions etc. I am quite strict and I like people who do their homework. At the same time I am an easy going person and I like chatting with my students, make them feel comfortable and at ease.
