Good day beautiful people! how are you all doing? My name is Yvvone Kache. I am a Kenyan currently living in Pretoria, South Africa. I am here on Italki to teach English and Swahili. As a Kenyan, these are my native languages. I can easily guide you to a better understanding whether you are just starting out or are already a few steps into your language studies. I also speak, read and write Portuguese which I learnt due to an interest in my Mozambican maternal language. My Portuguese level is not as fluent as my English and Swahili. I would love to interact with you as you register for my classes. Thank you so much and see you in class!
我的教學經歷
As a teacher I conduct myself in a gentle and patient manner. I understand that learning a new language is not the easiest thing to do but with the right approach from me and a positive attitude from my students, the sky is the limit! I would love a situation whereby my students feel comfortable to express themselves fully whenever they have questions or do not understand any part of what I teach them. I was the subject representative in English, Swahili and C.R.E in both primary and high school. Countless times weekly I represented the teacher in class and symposiums. I have taught a Congolese preschooler beginner English and a French adult Swahili for travelling purposes in my home area.
我的課程內容與教學風格
To teach, I use all methods possible to make my students understand me clearly. These may include question and answer, dictation, assignments that I give to the students, revision and repetition, research work and proper illustrations that will give the student a clear view of what I will be teaching them and many other methods that come in mind as I evaluate the progress of my students. I do my best to be audible, have proper lighting and use a decent environment for each of my lessons with my students. You are brave for learning a new language, it can only get better from here!
