Hi,
my name is Andrea and I live in London. I grew up in Germany, in a city not far from Berlin. I also lived in Hanover and Bremen over the last few years.
I have been tutoring since I left school and always enjoyed working with other language learners. I then decided to become a teacher and studied "Teaching English and German as a foreign language" and Philosophy.
I have always been working with people from different backgrounds and love discovering new cultures through speaking and working with others.
UPDATE (April 2023): I will go on maternity leave from mid-June 2023 for a few months, but I will notify you when I am back teaching.我的教學經歷
I have more than 10 years of tutoring and teaching experience and work as a full-time teacher. I will adapt the lessons to your needs and will create a relaxed atmosphere so we will have fun getting to know the German language better every time we speak.
I know what it is like to be a "student" / language learner, since I am always setting myself new challenges as well.我的課程內容與教學風格
Please note that all my lessons (except trial session) include a 5 minute break after 30 minutes.
We will always work with and on different materials such as pictures, newspaper articles, short films, etc. to get the conversation started. We can always discuss beforehand what the focus of the next lesson could be.我的教材

Andrea ist eine ausgezeichnete Tutorin und ein echter Profi. Andrea is an excellent tutor and a true professional. She is very friendly and knows exactly how to create a very comfortable learning environment. Andrea cleverly keeps conversations flowing and she can address a multitude of topics. Andreas Kurse sind sehr interessat und lehrreich und ich freue mich immer auf den nächsten Kurs! I've learnt a lot about Germany and improved my German speaking from her courses. I always enjoy talking with her :) Every class, to me, is an exciting and meaningful adventure, through which I speak German more and more fluently and get closer and closer to the culture.

What can I say about Andrea.. She is amazing in every way. I might be a bit corny here but need to quote Tina Turner:
