Misunderstandings at My Workplace
I'm an easygoing person, and I prefer focusing on my own tasks rather than getting involved in office politics. For example, I often feel embarrassed to ask for time off to handle personal matters, and I frequently work overtime to complete extra tasks—even when there's no additional pay. Because of this, I'm often seen as an easy target at work.
Recently, my boss assigned me a business trip, but I had to decline due to family responsibilities. After that, my boss started deliberately overlooking me and gave me a low performance evaluation. I tried to address the issue in a one-on-one meeting, but our relationship hasn’t improved at all. It's disheartening to see that my hard work still goes unrecognized.
