Hi there! My name is Dian, I'm from the Netherlands from a place that's 2 hours from Amsterdam. I'm 32 years old, very into music, cultures an philosophy. I traveled a lot and lived for a while in the south of Spain. I love to meet new people.عني كمعلّم
I have a lot of experience with the art of teaching. The most important thing to me is create an environment where people enjoy their learning process, because how could you make progress when you aren't enjoying it? :-) Therefore, I would like to explore together with you what's working and what isn't. I love open communication so it's very likely that I ask you what you would like to learn and what's working for you and what isn't.دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
My style is basically having conversations together, because that's what it's all about in the end. Vanaf de eerste les praten we Nederlands met elkaar, want ja: dat is toch het leukst?! :-) & zo leren we het snelst. We can choose topics, or choose for a free conversation.
Are you ready to be corrected while having nice conversations together? As a teacher I will correct you every time in a gentle way. I want you to know what correct Dutch is and how Dutch people speak together. Therefore, I give many examples of how you could say anything.
I could also give you grammar/spelling lessons and work with homework.

Dian is an excellent teacher. I have been studying with her for almost three months now and my level of Dutch has improved a lot. I think she is very professional and can correct you without making you feel bad. She is also very empathetic, cheerful and knows much about the language... I highly recommend her!!

Thanks to Dian for all her help and making lessons fun. She's very dedicated and she teaches something new every second. Also she corrects all kind of mistakes with patience. I feel very lucky for being a student of a positive, cheerful and supporting teacher :)

I really enjoy the free flowing conversations with Dian. Makes the experience feel way more natural and helps improve the words and parts I would struggle with most in everyday conversations.

I really enjoyed the trial lesson. I was super nervous at first, but Dian is an amazing and chill teacher which made me feel at ease. She listened to what I needed and created a plan suitable for me. I’m excited for the next lesson and to get better at Dutch 😊
