Die deutschen Dialekte

(A)  Grob geschätzt gibt es in Deutschland etwa 20 Dialekte. Wenn man allerdings genau hinsieht, sind es erheblich mehr, denn die einzelnen Mundarten lassen sich kaum voneinander ABGRENZEN. 
(B)  Es ist jedoch eine Tatsache, dass der Bewohner Hamburgs im Norden den Münchner im Süden nur mit Mühe versteht und dass der Württemberger für einen Film, in dem Plattdeutsch gesprochen wird, vermutlich Untertitel braucht. 

(C)  Sprachforscher beklagen, dass die Dialekte zugunsten des Hochdeutschen mehr und mehr in Vergessenheit geraten. Das ist schade, denn ein Dialekt hat reiche Ausdrucksformen, die auch die Kultur seiner Sprecher WIDERSPIEGELN. Leider ist dieser Niedergang im Zeitalter der Medien und der großen Mobilität der Bevölkerung kaum noch aufzuhalten.

(D)  Interessanterweise stellte sich bei einer UMFRAGE heraus, dass mehr als ein Viertel der Deutschen das „Bayerische“ gerne hört, während „Sächsisch“ auf dem letzten Platz der Beliebtheitsskala der Dialekte landete.

Welcome! I’m delighted to present to you 111 Tips for Learning a Language. Here is our tip for today. The first tip is to learn in a way which is most comfortable to you. You yourself decide how and what you want to learn. Well, be creative! There is no one right way to learn a language. Everyone is a unique individual and thus they have different interests when it comes to learning. Some students like to dive straight into informal conversation while others prefer to learn in a more systematic way using a textbook. Some students, like myself included, start by learning vocabulary. I take great pleasure in making flash cards for myself when I’m learning a language. When we learn in a manner which we enjoy we would definitely be more disciplined to keep it up. Ideally learning for ourselves should be fun and relaxing while stimulating at the same time with just the right oomph factor to keep us wanting to know more. "Am I not?" the flower responded, sweetly. "And I was born at the same moment as the sun."
小王子看出了这花儿不太谦虚，可是她确实丽姿动人。
The little prince could guess easily enough that she was not any too modest–but how moving–and exciting–she was!
她随后又说道：“现在该是吃早点的时候了吧，请你也想着给我准备一点…”
"I think it is time for breakfast," she added an instant later. "If you would have the kindness to think of my needs".
小王子很有些不好意思，于是就拿着喷壶，打来了一壶清清的凉水，浇灌着花儿。

And the little prince, completely abashed, went to look for a sprinkling-can of fresh water. So, he tended the flower.
于是，就这样，这朵花儿就以她那有点敏感多疑的虚荣心折磨着小王子。
So, too, she began very quickly to torment him with her vanity– which was, if the truth be known, a little dificult to deal with.

One day, for instance, when she was speaking of her four thorns, she said to the little prince: "Let the tigers come with their claws!"

"There are no tigers on my planet," the little prince objected. "And, anyway, tigers do not eat weeds."
花儿轻声说道：“我并不是草。”
"I am not a weed," the flower replied, sweetly.

我并不怕什么老虎，可我讨厌穿堂风。
I am not at all afraid of tigers, she went on, but I have a horror of drafts.
你没有屏风？
I suppose you wouldn't have a screen for me?
小王子思忖着：“讨厌穿堂风…这对一株植物来说，真不走运，这朵花儿真不大好伺候…”
"A horror of drafts–that is bad luck, for a plant," remarked the little prince, and added to himself, "This flower is a very complex creature."

小王子第19章：婀娜的花朵

こんばんは！Atsushiです。
みなさん、元気ですか？

今日は、札幌の紅葉について話します。
Podcast#110でも話しましたが、今回は11/8に実際に行って見てきましたので、その話をします。

昨日は札幌の北海道大学のイチョウ並木を見に行きました。
別にポプラ並木もあるみたいです。
これは、1903年に行われた小規模な植林が始まりです。
結構前からあるんですね。もう100年以上前です。
そして、2004年の台風では、半数近くのポプラが倒れたようです。それでも、たくさんの方の支援を受けたそうです。

イチョウ並木の方に話を戻します。
道の両側に真っ黄色のイチョウが立ち並び、
鮮やかに彩っていました。
とてもきれいでした。
写真を撮っている人がいたり、イチョウをながめながら歩く人もいたり。もちろん、大学生が帰っていたり。
大学の中にありますが、一般の人でも入ることができます。

まっすぐな道沿いに大きなイチョウが70本ほどあるので、いつの時期に行っても、楽しめると思います。
