Moikka ja Tervetuloa. Nimeni on Erika, hauska tutustua. I am a nature lover and languages enthusiast. I was born in Italy, but I have been living in Finland since I was a young girl. I love hiking, swimming in lakes and cooking. What are your hobbies?
I am a social counsellor and an interpreter from Finnish to Italian (and viceversa). In my career, I had the pleasure to supported other foreigners learning Finnish and I have found the journey really interesting and rewarding.
I love interacting with people from all over the world and I cannot way to help you in your own adventure with Finnish language.Me as a Teacher
I am a freelancer Finnish teacher who strives to ensure that all students interests and goals are a constant part of my classes. I have a friendly personality and I am a polyglot with both language learning and teaching experience.
I have been a kindergarten teacher and I have worked with adults who were exploring and learning Finnish and teaching is my passion! I want to create a relaxing and fun, but useful environment for my students and I am very excited to be part of your Finnish language journey.My lessons & teaching style
I will provide all the materials for the classes. These vary from books, flashcards and cheat-sheets about grammatical topics to lyrics of songs, recipes or audio files.
We will practice conversation from the beginning as I believe speaking is one of the best ways to acquire a language and to gain confidence. Please do not be nervous or worry, we will practice together and I will support you.My teaching material
